WHAT IS SKATE THE STATE?
Skate the State is our attempt to raise money for the Skate for Change Omaha Chapter. We will be skateboarding across the state of Nebraska May 27th-June 6th in attempt to do a few things. As a group of kids from rural Nebraska, we want to prove to people that it doesn't matter where you come from. You can ALWAYS make a difference. We are also showing the struggling people in our community that there are people pushing for them, and that people do care.
WHERE IS YOUR DONATION GOING?
Your donations are going towards our final goal of creating a resource center for the Omaha area. The Skate for Change Omaha Chapter lacks a base of operations. This facility will be a place where we can provide mentorship, job training, and any other support the at-risk youth of our community can utilize. The resource will be very similar to The Bay in Lincoln, NE. To see exactly what that looks like, please click the button below.
